Jennifer, I lost my husband on Nov.28, 1999. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him and miss him very much. We have two very beautiful children who were very torn up about losing their daddy. People tell me that as time goes by it will get better. I haven't come to that yet if I ever will. I don't think my husband would want me to spend the rest of my life without trying to find someone else but for me right now I feel that would be impossible. Friends have said it is time for me to start meeting men but frankly I can't picture myself in the "dating scene", it scares the crap out of me!!! I don't think my kids are ready for another man in their lives. They are both young (10yrs. and 5yrs.) and the lost of their daddy is very difficult on them that they still need time to greive and I guess when they are better with the loss of their dad then maybe I can move on. I know people have different reactions to the lose of a spouse but give yourself some more time to adjust to your life without your husband first before adjust to a life with another man.
