My husband had a massive stroke 12/1/99 and died a few days later. A few weeks later my son went off to college, All aspects of my life changed --from a family of 4 to family of two, my daughter became more distant and independent. This has been painful beyond comprehension. It seems as if friends become more distant too. And I have to reach into all resources to try to understand the purpose of this pain. But some day ..we all face a loss of a loved one.
