I've been going over the net for the past few months looking for sites like this. Like you, I lost my wife just a short time ago in June. I found it hard to believe that everyone who loses a partner goes through this- the feeling is almost like a panic.
My children are older, and are in relationships themselves that comfort them. Although they have been a big help in getting me over this period, the sense of loss is overwhelming. They have their own lives to live. I know that if my wife were here, it would be so much easier. But that won't happen.
I wish I found comfort in religion. I know many do.
