I read your email and wanted to respond to you as my situation was very similar. My mother passed away unexpectedly in 2000. It was impossible for me to grieve normally during that time because my husband was so ill. My husband passed away Christmas Eve 200l, and now I am grieving for both of them. Friends and family say that this grief does become more bearable- not as raw. I also sang amazing grace to my mother. Thank you for sharing, and I feel connected to those who are going through great loss. Dale
