Melissa-

This seems to be the case all to often---nowhere to turn after the loss of a parent for both the spouse and the children. I will be starting my organization in Atlanta, GA--although I would lke to spread my wings beyond Atlanta in the future. Unfortunately what I have found is that children are often th forgotten mourners. Although bereavement groups and therapy for these kids seem pretty accessible around the country, positive alternatives for them to turn their grieving energy does not. It is important--in m opinion--to provide a grieving child with positive experiences, open their eyes up quickly to life's lesson of "life is a journey". We all have our struggles but those struggles can give way to happiness and joy too. Activity and friends is what is important to these children and it should remain that way. Check out my website katesclub.org! If you are in the Atlanta area I would love to help! Take Care. Kate
